My KR has been idle for a little while. You know, started a minor modification that turned into a long project, kids, job, you know all the reasons.
Anyway, I have it back together, running, taxi testing all seems pretty good but, I would like to have a second set of KR inspecting eyes. I also seen 220 on my oil temps the other day on a short runway low flight. I think the baffeling on my oil cooler needs modified. I have had a couple of the local EAA members look at it with me, but they admit they know nothing about KR's or VW converted engines. I know it's short notice but I would really like to fly it to the gathering, never been to one. I would also like to have someone who would like to give me some dual since it has been a while since I last flew. It's a beautiful plane and it flys really nice.
