Since its origins were my cowling, it's the same firewall shape as the RR
KR2S plans call for, with an extra two inches added below for embedded NACA
duct exits for cooling air.  It's 28.75" from firewall to the back of the
spinner backplate.  Thrust line is 2.375" below the top longeron, which is
pretty close to the best I could do with a Corvair engine and retain decent
forward deck to spinner lines.  His cowling has an extra inch added between
the halves, so there is room for growth in that direction if somebody wanted
it.  This thing has more clearance all around the front than mine does
though, and is designed to accept WW's front starter setup and 13" spinner.
