If you can come in from the end of the wing or stub where they bolt together
 and put it in the side, you will always have access to it.  They make them
bendable, so you can come in from the side, go a little up and then down.  I
just put in a Princeton and it was a piece of cake to calibrate.  They also
make them with remote sender units.
