I think in a case like Mark L.is a good example of why your prop not wind 
mill is a good thing,with the extra drag caused by the windmilling prop he 
more then likely would not have made the airport.I don't clam to speak for 
everyone on the subject,but unless I;m at about 10,000 feet I'm not going to 
try diving and restarting anything,from some of the reports I've read about 
guys who have tried it found out when it don't restart the engine you hit 
the ground a lot harder.I don't remember when practicing engine outs with my 
instructor him ever saying if the engine quits try to dive and restart 
it.Just a thought!!!!!
