I have this saw and it is not very big. While it works well as a cut off saw,it is awkward to use as a band saw. That being said it has done all that I have needed it to do so far. If you push to hard you end up moving the saw across the floor in the band saw setup. I did use it to cut up my corvair bell housing and it did fine. I have not tried to cut any wood on it yet.
