Mark, Like Joe, I made this same mistake with flaps and knew what was coming in your story. Glad it all worked out okay. My flaps situation occured when our airport decided no "touch-and-goes" after 0700 and I was trying to get one more in before the time to quit came up. A point we can all take from this is how easy it is to get distracted when everything is going TOO good. You were having a great day flying and wanted to get right back up there. Also, it is more important to know what to do when things go wrong than it is to keep hoping nothing will ever go wrong. Thanks for this story.
