I discovered a two places that I believed needed to be changed. One change has to do with convenience of installation. I added a cutout to the area above the intakes to allow them to be installed without taking both sides of the baffle, around them, off of the engine. By having a separate piece just above each intake, I can just remove that piece and will be able to install and remove the intakes.
I also changed the way I have always handled the routing of wires through the back of the baffle. I never liked the way the grommet worked, so I made up a new way. I like it a lot better. It is heavier and much more complicated. I also added a bulkhead fitting for the oil breather to be attached to, so it will not actually pass through the baffle, and am adding 3 air cooling hose attachments to the back and underside of the baffle. One for the gas filter, one for the Rectifier/????, and one for the cooling system for the coils. I am about finished with this project, so now, on to the spinner. The new pics start about half way down the thumbs. http://kr-builder.org/Baffeling/index.html See you in Mt.
