Orma, He is stating that if you land on the downwind edge of the runway and cross to the upwind edge by the time you stop, then you have changed your runway direction by a few degrees. Must be a pretty darn good pilot to do that!!! Wouldn't it be nice to have big round runways then we could always land directly into the wind.
