Ive hear that the reason a lot of people say the corvair sound like a P51 is beacuse you are hearing 6 cyl firing and the Sound you hear from a P51 is normally only six banks. The higher rpms we turn as well makes a difference. But dont take my word for it as I havent been able to hear mine yet, but I must say that Marks looks and sound fine!
