KRnetHeads,

I just watched the KR Gathering video, and I want you to know that I'm
holding Video Bob and Terry personally responsible for putting me another 2
hours behind schedule on finishing up my plane! I thought I'd just let it
run in the background while I did a little "finishing up", but I ended up
watching every frame...listening to every word. I learned several
interesting things that I missed while I was there, got my first look at Ken
Thomas' elusive Jabiru installation, and ended up spellbound by the whole
thing. It really captures the essence of what the Gathering is all about,
and started me thinking about this year when I'm one of the "KR pilots".
What a rush! Definitely the best KR Gathering yet, and I'd like to thank
Video Bob and Terry for sacrificing their Gathering time to capture it all
for us.

And then I was treated to the entire "KR song" (I hate sanding), Larry's "KR
builder's wife's song", and something Jim came up with a counterpoint, for
those with wives who are a little less understanding. The Gathering has
really turned into a sort of KR builders' homecoming affair, where old
friends meet once a year to catch up and swap ideas, stories, and
experiences. I sincerely doubt that I will ever miss another one. If
you've never been to one, don't buy the video, because after that, you'll be
hooked yourself, and you'll just have to be there. Details are at
http://www.krgathering.org/ . Thanks again Larry, and everybody else that
helped make it happen. I'm headed upstairs to ask the wife if she wants to
watch a really cool video. I'm guessing she will...
