a little experience I had with my VW engine
that got costly.
I put my engine together faithfully following HAPI
plans and prelubed it with engine oil which is
acceptable by anything I've read and then
didn't start it for a couple of years so when
I did start it , it was a dry engine .
spun bearings involve going next undersize
on your crank and new cases [ ouch]
There might be a way of priming the
lubrication system in the v dub motor
but nobody that I talked to in the know
thought so.
