I am glad you chimed in on that. The Tech Advisor I was speaking of is an
A&P, IA, CFI and probably much more. I never thought of it as you explained
and I am sure you are correct. I was actually talking with that Tech Advisor
two days ago. He is an instructor and A&P for the flight service I rent
Warriors from. I was doing a little flying prepping for my first flight and
he gave me some really great advice on handling situations during a first
flight. Just to clear things up, he did make additional inspections on my
plane and he never again mentioned charging to sign off my logs...but then I
did not ask him to either. I will be doing two hours  touch and goes
tomorrow morning in the warrior at my airport preparing for my first flight.
