Well, I just packed the engine onto the plane on some temporary 2" spacers while Jerry gets the permanent ones made. Tomorrow, I start fitting and glassing the mods to the cowling.
I will be getting my medical next week and my check ride at the end of the month in wild anticipation of the most frightening ride that anyone can ever take. Actually, it only scares you to death at two points, just before full throttle and just before idle. Everything else is a piece of cake. I just hope this engine still runs.
