the irrigation pipe idea sounds like the spar tank in my AA1 Yankee.  If you 
want a copy of the baffle and tank layout , I will scan it and post it. The 
system has some drawbacks involving no fuel in a stall spin, but you guys can 
beat that with a bit of 
improvement.
