I built mine as the plans indicate with the static and pressure located just outboard of the wing attach point. While flying with a Super Decathalon last sunday, our airspeeds matched to within 2 mph. I got in 2.5 hours on Sunday, much of it flying formation with the Decathalon and a Yak 52. I watched from altitude nearby as they both did aerobatics, we made formation highspeed passes together, several landings at a private grass strip, buzz jobs at another private strip, three plane formation with a C 150, and it was an awesome day in the KR. If that doesn't bring out the YEEEEEE HAAAAAA in a KR pilot, his heart has quit beating!!! My KR will perform right along with the Yak 52 and he's feeding three times the horses!!!
