Mark Langford speaks of using a bent spar in the stub wings where you bend your spars by laminating quarter inch strips together just outside the fuselage. This sets the wing dihedral at the wing stubs and allows fuel in stub-mounted tanks to sump inboard.
I am going to use the AS504x airfoil developed for the KR-2S. I have the AS5048/45 rib templates, available at: http://www.krnet.org/as504x/templates.html. I have a few questions on using a bent spar with the new airfoil. How do the ΒΌ" strips Mark mentions bend the spar? How will the rib templates need to be modified for the bent spar? What effect will the bent spar have on the wing's washout and angle of incidence? Thanks, Sean C. Caranna My KR-2S build at -- http://www.wingsforum.com/aircraft/
