Yes, that includes the center section. I put two two 18" extensions on a 3/4" spade bit that I'd rounded the edges off, so it wouldn't cut through the carbon fiber nose. I poured a little epoxy down the hole and brushed it around the CF, then did the same with the tube and inserted it. It worked perfectly.
