Well, I woke up to a day that was forecast to be one of the finest that we have had and will have for some time. I checked my calendar at work and sent them all a message that I would not be there today.
I cleaned up the shop, hung a little plastic and now the top of the wings are all white. And, yes, that does include the ailerons. If it had not been for my mantra, written below, I would have been still sanding on those ailerons and they came out better than the wings. So one more shot to get the other side of the wings and I am all finished painting with the exception of the cowling, if we can ever get that, the way we want it.
