and Robinson arrived at their published CG range

Hey Oscar

I found it interesting that your extrapolation came out within 1/2" of
the RR numbers - almost as it they had also ignored the influence of the
tapered outboard panels.

Every informed opinion / pilot report that I have seen strongly suggests
the same thing - the airplane gets unhappy with the CG in aft few inches
of the range indicated by the designer.

Maybe if the planform and true MAC were taken into consideration, the
calculated CG range would be more acceptable.
