Check the strength differences between the two. Galvanized is stronger by
far and worth the extra inspection safety wise as far as I personally
believe. I was going to go the same way until I looked at the breaking
strength cable size foe size. Need 3/16 inch stainless to equal 1/8 inch
galvanized strength figures. Weight difference may be slight but every
little bit does add up.

Personally, I will go for stainless steel. I don't want to worry about 
corrosion checks too often.
