Joe,
As a workshop, a van would be, needless to say, very
close quartered, but not impossible. you need to
consider the work table. it should be at least 6"
wider than the boat and about 14' long. if you can
find a van with a 20' box, you could make a very
compact workshop. Another though would be to use an
old school or city bus. with them you have plenty of
window light as well as good cross ventilation. a van
does have the advantage of a higher over head.
