Any "good quality" fitting should serve the purpose well.  Just make sure
to check the "flare" angle of the fittings you chose.  Fittings for different
applications will sometimes use different angles.  Your flaring tool will
have to match the fittings.  For what it's worth, I've had several mechanics
say they like to use a steel fitting at the carb.  They claim to have seen
several alum fittings crack/break at that point.  I can't advise one way
or the other but I'm using a steel fitting on the KR carb because I 
needed a 45 degree fitting, didn't want to wait, and went to the local
builder of auto racing engines for a fitting.  He uses alum fittings also.
