KR Builders, Mark Langford is correct, the drawing he submitted was in fact made by the late Ken Rand and the KR-4 Twin was to be his fourth design. They were working on the KR-3 which was a single engine amphibian, the first completed one was almost destroyed in the first test flight and the plan was tore-build/ perfect it and get plans and kits on the market. After that they were planning to proceed with the KR-4 twin. It was going to be a four place and the engines that Ken planned to recommend were two Revmaster 2100's. After his death the plans for both the amphibian and the twin were just forgoten about. Pre-moulded parts for the KR-2 and the development of the KR-2S with premoulded parts and a choice of landing gear configurations came after his widow took over the business.
A very merry christmas and happy new year to all builders, and flyers on the KRNet Bob Stone, Harker Heights. Tx rsto...@hot.rr.com
