20% maybe, not 80%. The other advantage is a few percent increased HP from improved exhaust scavengeing because the exhaust gasses stay hotter, hence less dense.
I think you will still get plenty of heat for the carb and cabin heat. Plenty of other companies do ceramic coating. Make sure they do both the outside and inside of the pipes. The increased heat of the exhaust gasses will eat your pipes in no time if only the outside is done. Call your local speed shop and see if there is anywhere local that does it.
