Huh? You can't fly the plane until you have an airworthyness certificate. You can not get an airworhthness inspection until the plane is registered. There is no Florida registration, just the FAA.
When you register a new plane with the FAA, weather it is a brand new N number or a transfer if you bought an existing plane they notify the state. In Florida you will get a letter from Bo Parmer, our one and only Florida aircraft tax person, asking for their cut. Fortuately, Bo is a very nice guy and is as reasonable as a tax man gets.
