After running my engine at CC#8 I have been busy building an engine mount. My friend Giff has been helping me with it and has it in his shop doing the finish welding and adding gussets. We will then reinstall it and add the diagonal tube and the nose wheel tubes and should be finished except for painting. some pictures at http://jackandsandycooper.com/motormount.html . More pictures to follow. Seeing the engine mount on the airplane gives a sense of accomplishment. The work I've done lately is all necessary of course but its hard to see anything coming together. Having run the engine and now seeing the engine mount nearly complete is like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel - - - - a very long tunnel.
