I am planning to build my version of a KR2S single place, very light, and have a longer wing. I have no doubt it will meet the LSA standards. I can choose to call it a KR or a KFliver or whatever. Much of the rule refers to kits and factory manufactured aircraft, but I believe the rules also apply to "one-off originals". Here is a quote from the EAA website: "Experimental amateur-built aircraft that meet the definition of an LSA can be flown by sport pilots or those holding higher pilot certificates."
