Sometimes we have to gouge out some of the foam on the edge of a glassed
surface, in order to put in flox before laying glass over that edge. I have
always done this using a razor knife or a pointed stick or....

I found a very easy way if you have a Dremel. Oh, if you don't have a Dremel
 that is another tip, get one. Use a small abrasive bit to do the gouging.
It is fast and really cleans the foam down to the surface of the glass so
the flox will be able to get a good bond. 

Finishing the ailerons so I can paint the wings over the Thanksgiving
