As most of you know, my plane is at the airport and I have been taxi testing with no wings. Last weekend I installed my right wing which houses a 12 gallon aluminum fuel tank, nav lights, strobe lights and a landing light. All of these components were connected and worked perfectly. I even filled the wing tank with fuel and have no leaks. Tomorrow, I plan on doing some more taxi runs less the left wing. Now that should turn some heads. Everyone at the airport is well aware of the new Corvair powered KR on the field and are anxiously awaiting that first flight. My left wing will be completed this weekend and I will take it to the airport and mate it to the plane. After that is done, I will get the FSDO out for an inspection an hopefully get that first flight in by the end of November.
