I searched on the phrase "do not archive" and found 500 instances of it. Now here's the sad part. At least one of those posts had useful information in it, BUT the poster had not snipped the post he was replying to, and the unsnipped post DID have the phrase "do not archive" in it. If we had a "bot" on this listserve that dumped posts containing the phrase "do not archive" in them, like the Matronics lists do, we'd have a mixed blessing in that the bot would dump the garbage all right, but would also dump good archivable posts that didn't have earlier posts snipped. Manners, manners. List netiquette. Oh, and just so this post isn't totally useless, I'll add that I was able to finish rough-shaping the cowling plug on my little "KR Construction Trainer" and put up a photo: http://www.flysquirrel.net and it's just down from the picture of the flying prototype (second picture). It's got a little blister on top to clear the oil filler, and that will be part of a small hinged access cover. Cowling construction has been one of the most enjoyable parts of my project so far! I can also report that my Pietenpol, NX41CC, is airworthy again and is scheduled to do a flyover at the Veteran's Day ceremony in deep south Texas next week (but don't tell Homeland Security, please). The veterans request a flyover every year, 11/11, at 11 AM, as they perform the flag ceremony and 21-gun salute. This year they get the putt-putt of an A-65 in this airplane: http://www.flysquirrel.net/piets/CorkyPiet.html Oscar Zuniga San Antonio, TX mailto: taildr...@hotmail.com website at http://www.flysquirrel.net
