Clay, I have the same but a 2s and I made mine with 3/4" x 1/16" aluminum flat bar placed on top of the longeron cross braces under the turtle deck. Make an X with the antenna mounted in the center and you have a good ground plane. Search the archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/search or http://www.escribe.com/aviation/krnet/ and you will find lots of suggestions.
