Why not? I think that a the pitch sensitivity is due to two things, short
coupling and bad W&B. The S, helps with the short coupling and you can fix
the W&B. With everyone putting on bigger engines and EXPECTING higher
airspeeds, it makes sense to look at balancing. For one, higher airspeeds
will increase the opportunity for developing flutter and the bigger engines
put more weight forward to offset the weight added to the tail section for
balance.

There is a time for building and a time for FLYING and the time for building
has expired.
