Hello to all on the net. I have been off for quite a while and will be on
the net a little from time to time. I still have a lot I want to accomplish
with N41768 and so will be busy with her but am going to make time for more
interaction with the KR guys (and gals). I made it back from the gathering
with my daughter after a two day stop in Auborn AL with Steve Phillabaum due
to
poor weather in Gerogia - hurricane Jeane. It was nice to have new friends
that will put you up on a moments notice. I flew down to William Wynne's in
Dayton Beach the following weekend for a promised jump in the ocean with my
daughter since we never made it to the pool in Mt. Vernon. This week I have
worked on installing my wheel pants on the plane. Hopefully they will be
finished tomorrow (not painted) in time for the Thomasville Air show on
Saturday.
Maybe a couple Krs will show up there. I hope to be able to get photos and
drawing of my tank installations available soon to all those who were so
interested. I also will have a drawing of the VW emergency brake flap/speed
brake handle assy for yall to copy. This is an item I can make for you as
well
in my shop. I will also have a trailer available toe carry KRs to and from
my shop if anybody is interested in help - bodywork - paint?....
It was great to see all the enthusiasm at the Gathering - Hope it stays
around all year - KEEP ON BUILDING!! Bill Clapp N41786 - 60 hours and
counting....
