Marty Roberts announced he's sold his plane at five o'clock this morning to guy in Russia. How things change. Twenty years ago you'd have never guessed that this historic plane would someday be flying in Russia.
This was the most fantastic KR Gathering I've ever seen and next year will be even greater. Bill Clapp's plane was an inspiration to us all to get started building. A lot of great innovations. Steve Glover brought in a beautiful show-quality plane all the way from California. There were close to 20 KRs here and several new completions, including Joe Weber's nice KR2. The guys from Canada managed to get in just in time for the banquet. It was great to see so many old friends again. See you next year.
