Hi everybody Try to remove scratches from Lexan is a waste of time. I remember that the first models of helicopter AS 350 Squirrel have the windshield made from a sheet of Lexan by G.E. after two years it became yellow and it whas impossible to remove any scratches so Eurocopter factory has replaced all AS350 windschield with Plexiglass. Lexan is wery strong near impossible to break it ( it is also used for bulletproof carglasses ) flexible but is also "soft". The old plexiglass is fragile not easy to work ( it need a mould) but is clear , easy to polish and to remove any scratches , so is the best choice for our birds. Lexan is OK only on Ultralight if it is easy to replace.
