Well put Larry. I myself joined this list to increase my knowledge of the KR type aircraft and this was what led me to purchase the partially completed project that now resides in various locations in the house. (wife NOT impressed I might add) Although there are many people on this list that have much experience with KR's and actual flight time in completed projects, there are many, myself included that do not. The generally positive attitude and professional manner in which questions are dealt with is the very reason that this list and indeed the survival of the Rand design continues to flourish today long after Ken's untimely demise. To change that atmosphere now would, I fear signal the demise of both this list as well as continued design changes that have further improved upon what I believe to be an outstanding aircraft whether built to plans or highly modified. Each post has continued to provide much needed insight into the attributes as well as deficiencies of the design. As has been stated over and over results may vary. Keep up the fine work. Ed, We have no "idiots" on the krnet, only the uninformed. Please offer your advise and guideance in a positive way. Thank you. Larry Flesner P.S. I don't like parents yelling at their kids in public either but that's not really "net" related. :-)
