A guy at work had a great suggestion. Instead of using PVC wing tanks we could use aluminum thin walled aggricultural tubing. the stuff used in the giant travelling irrigators. It comes in standard sizes from 2 to 12 inch diameter, from .050 to 094 wall thickness. I think you can get end fittings as well or have it welded.
