As I mentioned in the earlier post, I listed the exact AN pop rivet number 
to suit the alum. thickness and sealability. The "solid" pop rivet looks 
like a Lincoln hat so that when you pull the mandrel, which does not extend 
through the head, you don't end up with a hole in the rivet.  I'd be hard 
pressed to believe Lowes would carry such an animal.  Remember, the wheel 
has already been invented:-)

If you call Van's and give them the rivet number I listed, it'll show up at 
your door with no problem.  They are not just a supplier of metal airplanes, 
they have a pretty nice selection of hardware.
