Indeed he does, as do you for hosting the event.  It's a lot of work.

Oh, but it is!  It says I'm Number One!  It's just not incrementing, that's 
all ;o)

And just to contribute something KR-ish, it seems like only yesterday but it 
was a few short years ago (1999?  2000?) that Paul Martin completed 
conversion of his taildragger KR2 to tri-gear and started taxi tests on it.  
What fun!  After seeing Paul's plane with its guts ripped out, cowling, fuel 
tank, instrument panel, engine, lots of other things dismantled and in 
boxes, holes cut open here and there, filled and sanded/primered splotches 
all over... I never thought it would fly again but it did.  Those of you who 
have your airplanes in pieces or wingless or engineless, take hope!  We 
watched Paul taxi the little KR behind its 1835 VW and eventually fly, carry 
passengers (me, for one), make cross-countries, and have a ball.  Never the 
prettiest bird on the field but sort of like an older sports car, lots of 
fun to fly.  It CAN be done!
