The leak is actually between the flywheel and crankshaft.  After about 15
hours the gasket disintigrates.  I have replaced the gasket 4 times and
torqued the gland nut to the recommended 217 ftlbs. This thing is driving me
crazy.  I am getting pretty fast at removing the engine though....
