I just finished doing a couple fuel flow tests. The first is in
level flight attitude from full stock Rand/Robinson header tank with 11.5
gal. gravity feed. The result is 22.75 gal per hour.
The second was also from full header tank but with the plane in a
12.5 degree nose up attitude. The result was 19.5 gal per hour flow.
Both were gravity only. I would expect to get better than this in
real life action as there is a vent tube that faces the prop wash that
should pressurize the tank.
Any comments or thoughts on these base line results?
