If you don't know how to recover the KR, you have a reasonable chance of becoming one of the statistics of those who die due to a low altitude spin. A few jets (T-38) aren't spun because they flame out almost immediately, so the only recourse is to punch out after 1.5 turns. The KR2 or S do not fall in either of these categories. Nor is either model close to the short coupling of the famed GeeBee of the 30's which made spin recovery nearly impossible.
