One thing to be aware of if you do decide to do that, is the length of the cable that you will have to run. The longer the cable, the larger it has to be to carry the load. I did that on the Beast and it was a mistake. Jerry and I have a Panasonic battery that is about the size of the little Oddesey batteries and it only cost $50 and I am mounting it right up by the motor mount on the passenger side. There is just enough room. you can get these from www.digikey.com I think this is the PN P049-ND. They are now $59.
