The following two pictures show where mine are located.  They don't
put very much air into the cockpit at higher angles of attack like
on climbout.  They do provide some fresh air at cruise but it's not
overwhelming.  I could use more air inlet although once I'm moving
I've never found myself sweating, at least not from the heat. :-)

I also found last winter that I really didn't need any cabin heat to
be comfortable.
