I would try to align the laminations so that the hole misses the glue Line. If I could not, then I would make darn sure that the hole is well
drilled, perpendicular and also reamed to size. As long as the spacing is greater than the allowable minimum, it makes no difference at all whether they are in line or staggered. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you Donald - this is one of those situations where even the tiniest amount of doubt will drive me nuts. The input from yourself and ML leaves me totally comfortable with what I will be doing. I assume that the WAF mount bolts are still 3/16" as per my ancient plans (1977/8) - that is 4.76mm bolt through 6mm laminations. With a subtle re-positioning of the holes in the WAF and a bit of care, it should be relatively easy to avoid the glue lines and thus have it both ways - QED Take care Steve J Zambia
