Make sure it is perfectly flat and level. I used wires streched from end to end as a guide for the bracing that the particle board rests on. That way I knew the top would be flat. I also used lag bolts on the legs of the table to make it adjusable as far as level is concerned. I used a water level to make sure it was perfectly level. Just a 3/8 clear plastic tubing with a little food color and water. It worked great!
