In drawing out my fuselage sides, I raised the lower longeron at the aft spar to match the new air foil. I think this is going to give me about 1.3 inches less head room. I want to keep the nice shape on the bottom, formed to the wing. I am 5' 8". My wife and kinds are not tall either., but I'm thinking of ride I may give to tall people in the future.
What will that 1.3 inches less do as far as head room? I geuss I could just add 2 inches to the total height? Would the type of canopy I choose make a difference? I like the look of the drangonfly, but maybe Todd's canopies would be an option. Drawing out the fuselage is getting me stoked!! Ok that's 3 questions......i iknow. Rons Smith God is in the details
