After some trial and error I found the one that works (perfectly) for my gullwing door was on the back of my pickup truck. The glass liftgate on my pickup bed "topper" has one on each side, or should I say had one on each side. I did replace it several weeks later when I got tired of the glass falling on my head. :-) I doubt that even two of them would be strong enough though for a forward hinged canopy. Larry Flesner
