Mine was flying and had 118 hours on it. I put it in my garage for an
estimated three months and $1,500 to change to fixed gear and a few other
mods. A year and three months and about $6,000 later it was flying again.

When I bought my first KR2, it was advertised as 90% complete. Having never
seen one before, I had no reason to doubt it. 6 years of persistent hard
work later, I took it to the airport. 1 year after that, it was flying.

If you know anyone who is familiar with this plane or any homebuilt, have
them look at it for you. If not, get your EAA technical counselor.
