Many nose gear get crunched after a bounce on landing. The pilot tries to force the aircraft back down to the runway with forward stick instead of holding back stick, adding power if needed, and flaring again. This often forces the nose wheel to hit first and there you have it. The weak link just failed again. You'd think they would design that thing better. :-) Larry Flesner
